Chetu co-sponsored in the Indian Regional & Cultural Center’s (IRCC) annual Diwali festival held on November 9, 2019, at the Broward Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Aimed to preserve and to promote the rich Indian heritage and culture of the families who have made America their home, the IRCC’s Diwali festival offers educational and cultural programming for attendees looking to celebrate the Indian holiday of lights. This year, over twenty employees attended the event to help promote the education of Indian heritage and champion the work of the Chetu Foundation in both the US and India.
Visitors to Chetu’s booth were able to see the work the Foundation is doing to further promote Health, Education, Humanitarian Assistance, and Disaster Relief throughout India, as well as learn more about the company, Chetu, Inc., and its numerous community partners. Aside from volunteering at the event, the Chetu Foundation was also a nonprofit sponsor, helping the festival further its goals of instilling the Indian youth of South Florida with an understanding of the Indian culture. Chetu remains an active supporter of the IRCC and is looking forward to continuing to help promote education and cultural preservation.
