In May 2020, Chetu hosted its Closing for a Cause campaign where a percentage of proceeds from all new business deals closed were given to the closing salespersons’ charities of choice. The campaign began at the beginning of the month and lasted two weeks, ending on May 15th. The initiative was designed to not only encourage Chetu’s sales team members to continue growing Chetu’s portfolio, but also provide them the opportunity to give back to the charities near and dear to their hearts during these turbulent times.
In total, the Chetu raised over $1,600 for charities that spanned the philanthropy spectrum and addressed causes associated with eliminating hunger, animal shelters, supporting the arts, child empowerment, medical support, international relief, and reducing poverty. These philanthropic entities include:
- Abernethy Memorial United Methodist Church
- American Diabetes Association
- ASPCA
- Boys & Girls Club of Dallas
- The Cleveland Orchestra
- Feeding America
- Feeding Florida
- Latter-Day Saint Charities
- Macaya Foundation
- Marc Jaiden Foundation
- No Kid Hungry
- Orange County Animal Shelter
- Jude Children’s Research Hospital
The Chetu Foundation was established to help the employees of Chetu give back to their local causes and communities, and is proud to continue empowering its employees as they support of their own charities of choice.
