Children’s wellbeing is a core focus of the Chetu Foundation, and in order to further promote this interest and better support our team members, the Foundation is pleased to host a Scholarship initiative that we invite all team members’ children to apply for.
Participation in any Chetu Foundation Initiative is open exclusively to existing Chetu employees. If you have any questions regarding this stipulation please e-mail us here.
Chetu has joined the growing list of South Florida technology companies to partner with TechGateway, the regional information technology advocacy group, and volunteered during its Broward County School event, TechGateway Day.
The opportunity allowed key members of the Chetu operations team to engage with middle and high school-aged students through Broward County and educate them about the role technology plays in their lives, the career opportunities in the industry, and what Chetu is doing to advance the regional tech ecosystem. The TechGateway group organized an entire day to promote tech awareness in support of the digital revolution and leveraged other key technology companies in South Florida as well. In 2017, Chetu’s assistant vice president of operations, Pravin Vazirani, visited Sunrise Middle School, and in 2019, senior project manager Ajaykumar “Ajay” Gupta presented at Hollywood Hills High School.
TechGateway Day aims to introduce students to possible career paths, creating a dialogue between current experts and future experts. Through a deepened understanding of work culture, more students will feel compelled to pursue technology degrees. As these students graduate with degrees in computer science, they will be responsible for reaching new technological milestones in South Florida. Chetu is eager to see how these young minds develop and progress, overcoming hurdles past generations have yet to triumph over.
Chetu welcomes opportunities to molding the minds of today’s youth, evoking IT awareness within the South Florida area. As human interaction and everyday transactions become increasingly digital we must match this escalation with an influx of computer science and technology expertise, and the only way to build this resource is from the ground up.
